Back by request.
I posted this photo when our site was new.
After the reunion, I deleted all of my profile photos to post your photos from the reunion.
Many say they miss this.
To paraphrase what I think I wrote many months ago;
This is a photo taken in the Santa Barbara area.
It was used during Stefanie Canright's memorial along with Tom Petty's song and this line, "You Belong Among the Wildflowers".
I posted it for obvious reasons. It's beautiful and breath taking. She was a beautiful and amazing young woman whose life was tragically cut short. I say the same for all of our classmates and their family members who are no longer with us. Over a year's time, we learned of more names than we'd anticipated or would ever have thought we'd hear about.
This photo is dedicated to all who are no longer with us, who are missed, who we believe are in a far better place..... including among the wildflowers.

Dale,

So sorry to hear about Elizabeth. I would like to share a poem with you that I hope will bring you some comfort.

Blue Against Blue

This Heavenly Blue Butterfly

Will fly high in the sky,

Higher and higher.

The sunlight will touch

The blue on its wings

Until it seems to disappear.

We think it is gone,

Because the blue of the butterfly

Is the same blue of the sky.

We think it is gone,

Because our eyes are too

Weak to see—

And it is difficult to believe

What we cannot see.

But the Blue Butterfly is not gone.

It is still flying, higher and higher,

Nearer to the sun.

Blue Against Blue.

Now and Forever.

With Deepest Sympathy

Margaret Katie Purcell

Hi Maggie, Love your pics...you look good and happy. Isn't dancing fun? I started ballroom dancing in 2008, it is the best! Hope the years have been good to you.
Happy belated birthday!
