Nancy Greener (Braswell)

I was unable to locate an obituary for Greg, but did find the following. On January 5, 2001 the Tucson Citizen printed several open letters to Lute Olson regarding the death of his wife, Bobbie. Here is Greg's:

"My father and I have had season tickets at McKale since it was built. We are/were avid Wildcat fans and rabid Lute and Bobbi Olson fans.

I lost my father (my last parent) to prostate cancer on April 30th of last year, and I am in chemotherapy currently for lung cancer, so I can empathize and sympathize more than many with your tremendous loss.

I dearly loved my father and often find myself asking, What would my father have said? in a given situation. As long as I live and I can do this, my father is still with me.

I know that in any given situation, you can ask yourself, What would Bobbi say? and you know what she would have said. As long as you can do this, Bobbi will always be with you. My heartfelt condolences are with you and you will always have a caring fan in me.

Greg Diers"

Greg Diers died March 20, 2001.

Greg was a good and loyal friend - we had some great times together.
He was a serious collector of native southwestern art / artifacts, kachinas and the like. Loved to hike and camp the desert and canyons.
A true craftsman carpenter - I used to accuse him of having a fussy old lady's attention for detail - but oh what fine work!
He was the historian of the TDSU.
I still have the Revolver album he gave me.
I believe he is survived by his sister Diana, and I believe he was 52 yrs when he passed.
I miss him.
