I just saw this site and I would like to Thank You for appreciating my Uncle Mickey Wahl for serving his Country with honor and integrity. I never had a chance to meet him in person, but my Dad is his only brother and he tells me stories of Uncle Mickey that are full of adventure. Uncle Mickey will always be remembered and Thank You for honoring him and our family!!

Since 1969 Bruce Wahl, Uncle Mickey's only Brother, and my family in the days after have attended the Memorial Day service at South Lawn located in Tucson Arizona. My family and I invite anyone who would like to honor those who have passed for our freedom including Uncle Mickey to South Lawn for Memorial Day service in May. We would be honored to meet Mickey's friends and comrades at the service and we would love to hear more about Uncle Mickey's life at Palo Verde High School. Best wishes to you and the Class of 1968 along with friends and family!

I heard of Mickey's death but always wondered how. I also wondered why I didn't see him at graduation, not knowing he joined up. I was in AIT at Ft. Lewis at the time he was killed. Everytime I visit the "moving wall", I leave him a couple of cigars. He always made me laugh and he always had a smile. Thank you comarade for helping to preserve our freedom and our way of life, enabling us to have this 40 year reunion. John Benge.
