Doing the same things I was at our 30th except now I get to play with grandchildren who have voted me "best grandma ever" because I have video games in their playroom at my house and baking chocolate chip cookies is mandatory during weekend overnights. (Dear Senator McCain and Senator Obama- you have to know how to pander to your electorate.)

Getting to the age now where I can't remember if something happened in high school or junior high school. However, I can remember several things Suzi Davis and I got in trouble for our first year of college. Can't tell you about it until I get a signed release from Suzi. However, Suzi can tell you why my mother still chastises her every time she sees her.

I do remember teachers like Mr. Alvarez, Mr. Dick and Mr. Silverburg (I had Mr. Silverburg for English at Townsend) who not only instilled a love of learning in me but also a respect for education. Thanks guys-and I apologize to Mr. Silverburg if I ended any sentences here with a preposition.
