"This year's senior show's director, Bill McTarnahan, executed the patience and effort that unified the show."
(PV Post, 5/10/1968)

Bill was a Thespian Society officer, a lead actor in many PV theater productions like "Our Town" in 1967, and an active member of our National Honor Society.

Sadly Bill passed away in Tucson December, 1986 due to health complications. We thank him for a truly memorable Senior Show but most of all thank him for just being our friend.

Bill was always such a happy person. I remember Bill and I running down the hall (outside of Ms Schneider's Spanish class),and getting the biggest hug from him every morning. Bill loved the theater and drama class. He enjoyed cracking us up with his jokes.

I will miss him, but I will always cherish his memory. Bill was a very special guy!!

Bill was the first person I met in the summer when I moved to Tucson before my Senior year! He was so very nice to me and was eager to show me around my new school! He was also my first date in Tucson and and took me to play miniature golf! I was also in my very first car accident with Bill! Wow! A lot of firsts! Bill was so kind and friendly and helped make the summer and my first few weeks at Palo Verde High School successful! So sorry to hear of his passing! He was so proud of being accepted into Annapolis Naval Academy. He and my dad had great talks about the military, and my dad had great respect for what Bill had achieved in being accepted into Annapolis!
